Founded in 2003, Cube Architects is an Adelaide-based architectural practice delivering considered, contemporary design across residential and commercial projects of varying scale.
Our approach is collaborative and responsive. We work closely with our clients to understand the requirements, opportunities and constraints of each project, then develop practical design solutions that make the most of the site, brief and budget.
Our portfolio spans residential additions and new homes, medium-density housing, multi-storey commercial projects and large retirement living communities. This breadth of experience allows us to bring a practical and adaptable approach to projects of different sizes and complexities.
From early concept through to documentation and construction, we remain focused on clear communication, thoughtful design and practical delivery. Mark Williams joined Cube Architects in 2010, became joint Director in 2016 and took ownership of the practice in 2017 following the retirement of founder Hans Grauwelman.
Prior to joining Cube, Mark spent more than ten years working with some of Adelaide’s largest architectural practices, as well as smaller boutique firms, gaining experience across a broad range of project types and scales.
His experience spans design, documentation, contract administration and construction, and he remains closely involved with clients throughout the project process.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Architecture (Honours) and a Bachelor of Education specialising in secondary art from the University of South Australia. His background has shaped an approach that combines creative thinking, clear communication and practical project delivery.
